There are 4 criteria or elements you absolutely must have in any Website based Bible Study and any study whether it includes Koine Greek, basics of Christian Doctrine, or information concerning the principles of Christian Business. :
You need practical material that you can put to use in your Bible Study, your life and your Christian business
You need Practical and useful material that helps you put your Christian faith to use in everything you do.
You need to have a practical and useful way to witness to God's Love, especially while conducting business
You need to have a solid combination of Thought, Words, Deeds, Belief and Feelings to gain success in your Christian business- This is your aim - so you need the tools available on this website
While the primary emphasis of any Christian business is to give glory to God, the tools for promoting the business are often the same tools used for secular businesses whose primary purpose is the return on investment. This leads to a core question: What is the difference between a generic secular business and a Christian business?
This website's core advice to you is: “Once you are sure that God wants you to start a business, then do it with gusto and of course, do everything to God's glory,”
This lead us to the various issues addressed in this website.
This website is not about simply making money, although that is a major point of this website, instead this site about Christian Business is about giving glory to God, by providing honorable goods and services in a loving fashion to our fellow person.
The difference between the two styles of “Christian business persons” is not simply that one uses his congregation to make money, while the other relies upon God for all things, including money.
The differences come out in what they do, what kinds of products they sell, and how they treat their employees and customers, and this, in turn depends on what is meant by the term “Christian business.”
Knowing that God wants you to run your own business, or that God wants you to work for someone else, is the first step in understanding you true vocation as a Christian business person. Which is to say, it is hard to do something with “gusto,” and to “do everything to God's glory,” if you are not sure what God wants you to do in business.
The other side of this advice is that there are many “business opportunities” marketed to Christians.
Some of these “opportunities” push the idea of making money off your congregation or marketing to Christians.
The false teachings include the idea that belief in God will make you rich. And, the converse, you are not really a Christian if you do not make lots of money.
The Bible has some strong words for such teachings.
We do not give glory to God because He has helped us make money. Instead, we give glory to God, because He loves us so much that He gave His only begotten Son for our salvation.
We do not say, or think that either the wealthy or the poor are somehow inherently better or worse than anyone else.
However, Paul advised the Thessalonians to work, at least to avoid idleness, but mostly as a means of learning how to have more faith in God, and love for fellow person, while gaining enough to “lack nothing.”
Thus, this website is about giving God glory through our business endeavors, while learning to have more faith in God and love for fellow person, while earning a reasonable profit from your Christian business.
